Most of the floors are teak wood. The staircase is West Indian mahogany, the kitchen and master bath are travertine tile. The balconies are all ceramic tile as well as the other bathrooms. The roof is a high-grade galvanized metal to replicate the traditional look, on top of wood and screwed down. The house has central air conditioning. In the bar, the soffit hides the very quiet air conditioning condenser system in interlocking panels that unravels to reveal the system so it can be easily serviced. There is a sophisticated automated lighting system throughout the house which allows one to control the lighting and fans inside and outside from one control. In the elegant yet comfortable living room there is a full surround sound theater with and all the components hidden from view. The beautiful English country style kitchen has an amble pantry, many windows for sunlight and a door to the patio and pool area. With lovely granite counter tops, the kitchen cabinetry was custom built by Nancy proctor of Frederiksted. The generous covered gallery looks north to Buck Island and the Caribbean Sea.
